Protesting for Diversity – a participatory art project 2018

Protesting For Diversity is an online campaign for cultural diversity, created collectively by various groups in the UK.

The core of the work is the production of a series of placard through conversations and collage making, for a  pro-diversity interventions in various public spaces during Refugee Week 2018. The interventions will include a rally, leafleting, a photo-booth and other tactics of engagement with passers-by and than will be disseminate on social media.

The project is a response to the immense rise of hate crimes in the UK post Brexit, the rampant xenophobia in the mainstream media, and the derision by politician of the importance of cultural diversity.
